Dallas Cowboys Rumors: Greg Hardy & Other Players Team Must Cut To Succeed In 2016 [VIDEO]

The Greg Hardy experiment didn't yield results in Dallas, but he's not the only player the Cowboys should consider cutting in the offseason.

Below is a complete list of players the team should sever ties with in 2016.

Johnny Manziel Will Beat RG3 To Cowboys In 2016

Greg Hardy

This is as obvious as it gets. Hardy gave misogynistic interviews, blew up on the sidelines and only contributed six sacks to a 4-12 team. Oh, there was also the domestic violence photos Deadspin leaked during the season.

Even Jason Garrett couldn't point to the positives surrounding Hardy in his final press conference of the season.

Mark Wahlberg's More Accurate Than Matt Cassel

"Don't want to get into any personnel decisions right now," Garrett said, per the team's official website.

There shouldn't be much to get into when it comes to a player who should be shown the door.

Brandon Carr

Brandon Carr didn't take a pay cut last year. He didn't intercept any passes this season, either.

That's not the kind of productivity you expect from a player with a $9 million price tag. Undoubtedly, he'll be asked to take another pay cut ahead of next season. If he's stubborn enough to decide against it, the Cowboys should consider looking for alternatives.

Matt Cassell

When you lose your starting QB, you're not expected to go on a Super Bowl run. You're not expected to lose 12 of your last 14 games, either.

With an injury-prone Tony Romo returning next season, a competent contingency plan must be in place. Matt Cassel -- who finished 2-6 as a starter -- is anything but that.
