RED SOX vs TIGERS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: 2013 ALCS Game 4 Live Coverage from Detroit

Tonight, at 8:07 p.m. ET, the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers continue their best-of-seven American League Championship Series with Game 4 live from Comerica Park in Detroit. The game can be live streamed here. Boston fans can hear all the action by turning their dials to WEEI 93.7 while fans of Detroit can access the game on 97.1 FM The Ticket

Jake Peavy (12-5, 4.17 ERA regular season) takes the hill for the visiting Red Sox while Doug Fister (14-9, 3.67 ERA) toes the rubber for the hometown Tigers.

The Red Sox enter tonight's Game 4 looking to put a stranglehold on the series after going up 2-1 with a 1-0 victory over Detroit Tuesday night off of a 7th inning solo homer by first baseman Mike Napoli. Detroit, meanwhile, will hope to nod the series up after it couldn't give any support to Justin Verlander, who pitched a gem but ended up on the losing end Tuesday after the solo homer.

Verlander was out-dueled by Boston hurler John Lackey, who lasted 6.2 innings without giving up a run and striking out eight. All three games in this series have been decided by one run as Detroit took the series opener 1-0 before Boston bounced back with a 6-5 win in a thriller on Sunday and then took a 1-0 victory of its own Tuesday.

"This series has been marked by very good pitching on both sides," Boston manager John Farrell told MLB.com. "John Lackey was outstanding. He held his stuff throughout the entire time he was out there ... just very good work by every guy that went to the mound today."

The Tigers have scored six runs in this series while the Red Sox have scored seven, with the homerun by Napoli proving to be the difference in giving Boston a 2-1 edge.

"That's baseball," Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter said per MLB.com. "I can't even explain it. Baseball is a crazy game. Your ace is out there doing his thing, and then one home run determines the game. It's a crazy game. You stay here long enough, you're going to always see something new."

Boston turns to Peavy, who they acquired from the White Sox in a three-team trade prior to the deadline back in July for October starts just like tonight. Peavy held the Tampa Bay Rays to just one run on five hits with no walks in his only postseason start with the Red Sox so far in Game 4 of the Division Series which Boston won, though he ended up with a no-decision.

"That was the exciting part about getting traded," Peavy told MLB.com about getting to play in the postseason.

His counterpart, Fister, also had a no decision in the ALDS, yielding three runs on six hits against the Oakland Athletics in Game 4.

"I'm not a strikeout guy," Fister said via MLB.com. "I'm a guy that goes out and gets ground balls. That's my job. That's what I want to do."

David Ortiz leads the Red Sox in many postseason categories including homers (15) and RBIs (50), while Miguel Cabrera saw his postseason streak of reaching base in 31 consecutive games snapped when he went 0-for-3 in Game 3. Cabrera led the league in most offensive categories in the regular season.

As a trip to the World Series hangs in the balance, the Red Sox and Tigers take the field at Comerica Park tonight hoping that the series will swing in their favor.
