Carolina Panthers Rumors: Josh Norman Fears No Team's Wide Receivers, Ready For More In Super Bowl 50 [VIDEO]

Panthers cornerback Josh Norman isn’t toning down his act at all now that Carolina is Super Bowl-bound. Norman was upset that the Panthers didn’t “put a 50-burger” on the Cardinals in the NFC Championship, and expects no problems with the Broncos’ elite receiving corps.

Norman, a Pro Bowler this year, said he and his teammates heard the experts picking Arizona because of their talented wide receivers.

I watch. I’m not dumb to what goes on,” Norman told The New York Daily News. “So all them guys that’s sitting up there picking the Cardinals, great. And thinking that they’re gonna blow us out because we’ve never seen a wide receiving corps like that, great.”

The Broncos receivers may not be as deep a group as Arizona’s, but there’s an argument that their top two – Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders – offer more headaches than Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd. Don’t tell that to Norman though.

“People still saying this is a fluke. I’m sure they’re going to go back and say, ‘Well, the Cardinals had an off night.’ You know what, continue to make excuses for teams. We enjoy it. We love it,” Norman boasted.

Norman has earned the right to talk trash. He has been dominant against most elite receivers this year, although he left two matchups, vs. Odell Beckham Jr. (Giants) and Julio Jones (Falcons) a little crispy. For the most part he has shut down his man, and each week is tasked with following around the opponent’s best receiver. He finished the regular season with 18 deflections, four picks, and two touchdowns. In the playoffs against the Seahawks and Cardinals he has five tackles and a sack.
