The feud between Paige and Lana outside of the squared circle appears to be squashed, but the WWE may still be holding a grudge with the "Ravishing Russian."
The two Divas engaged in a Twitter war of words in November, with Paige saying Lana "lies all the time," and the blonde bombshell firing back by calling the two-time Divas Champion a "bully." It seems that the two have since mended their friendship.

Paige posted a photo on Twitter after Tuesday's tapings for SmackDown of her embracing Rusev's real-life fiancée. Lana then responded by acknowledging that the two have had a history of fighting, but revealed they also love each other.

While it seems as though everything is dandy between the two Divas, that may not be the case for the "Ravishing Russian" and WWE officials. During the time period when Lana and Paige were arguing on Twitter, there was said to already be "nuclear heat" on the blonde Diva, and using the term "bully" to describe Paige only exacerbated the problem.

Lana made a lot of people angry backstage when she leaked her real-life engagement to Rusev to the media during a time the company was running a storyline where the couple was at odds. The WWE then had no choice but to pick up on the story on television and reunite the two.
It seems that all these months later, the heat may still be there for Lana, but this time for different reasons.
An interesting segment occurred during The Rock's return to RAW this week, as he insinuated that when he bumped into Rusev and Lana on the WWE's flagship show in 2014, he had a sexual encounter with the blonde bombshell.
Obviously, it was all part of the angle the WWE was running, but it was interesting to have The Rock say such vulgar things about Rusev's real-life bride-to-be. It was later revealed that Lana may very well have somehow drawn the ire of WWE officials again.
"Essentially she's got the new round [of heat]," insider Dave Meltzer said on his radio show (according to WrestlingInc), revealing that Lana said something backstage to get herself into trouble.
Whether or not the heat is real is all speculative, but the last time Lana was in hot water, the WWE had Ryback imply that Dolph Ziggler went all-the-way with her. The Rock storyline may have been more punishment for the beautiful, yet troublesome Diva.
