Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has put the emphasis on focus as the team tries to close in on qualification for the Champions League knockout stages by defeating Borussia Dortmund this afternoon.
The Gunners sit atop the Barclay's Premiere League after a 4-1 victory over Norwich at Emirates Stadium.
While Wenger's team has seen some success thus far this season, the manager knows it can still get better.
'We have room for improvement and being in the position we are in at the moment and knowing we have room for improvement is of course a good feeling,'' the Arsenal manager said per ESPN. ''We know we are a team that looks like being successful - for that you need a special hunger and I believe these players have a special hunger.''
Arsenal will try to defeat last year's European runners-up in a double-header match that could prove to decide the fate of Group F.
Following back-to-back wins, Arsenal sits on top, though Wenger has downplayed this next couple of matches being a deciding factor in the end game.
"It is not a decider, but it is an important one,'' Wenger said via ESPN. ''It is an 80 percent game for me, for the qualifier. If we win the game and we win the other home game, we know we are there.''
Arsenal's latest run can be attributed to the acquisition of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid, which Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp believes gave Arsenal its boost as it filled in a huge missing piece.
''This team missed one player and maybe it can be Mesut Ozil,'' Klopp said per ESPN. ''He is technically perfect, he is fast and has developed a drive to goal. He is very intelligent, can play in any team. He has everything, is natural and it works very well."
Klopp will have to watch this game from stands as he's serving a touchline ban from the UEFA for angrily confronting an official during his team's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Napoli, and the game will be in the hands of his No.2 Zeljko Buvac.
''I am full of trust for him, and a little bit less emotion is not always worse,'' he told ESPN.
Arsenal will look to keep their stance atop the standings while Dortmund enters as an underdog but hopes it can play well without its usual coach when these two team face off this afternoon.
