Given his somewhat impressive flameout in Philadelphia last season, Chip Kelly's reputation as an innovative head coach remains.
Kelly ranks as the favorite among all the NFL coaches hired in 2016 to lead his new team to a Super Bowl title, according to OnlineGambling.lv as reported by NJ.com.

The website lists Kelly's odds at 4-1 to win a Super Bowl with the San Francisco 49ers. Almost as surprising is the coach coming in as runner-up in Hue Jackson at 8-1.
Not that Jackson is less than any of the other new head coaches, but he is at an organization that has not shown a propensity to challenge for a playoff spot, much less a Super Bowl appearance, in the Cleveland Browns.

Kelly's replacement with the Eagles, Doug Pederson, is next on the list, along with Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase at 10-1.
"Kelly getting better odds than Pederson to win the Super Bowl is not overly surprising, as many around the league still see him as a special coach, despite his time in Philadelphia coming to a crash landing," NJ.com reported.
"Although Kelly was given better chance of winning the Super Bowl first, both Pederson and Kelly were given the same 4/1 odds of winning the most games next season among the new head coaches. Pederson was actually given better odds (7/3) than Kelly to make the playoffs next season."
Pederson has more talent in Philadelphia than Kelly does in San Francisco, NJ.com added, which gives him a better chance of making the playoffs.
But that also means that Kelly wasn't entirely inept in personnel decisions last season.
The New York Giants' Bob McAdoo came in at 12-1, Tampa Bay Bucs coach Dirk Koetter is 24-1 and Tennessee Titans coach Mike Mularkey, who has a head start on his peers because he took over as interim coach in 2015 when Ken Whisenhunt was fired in November, still came in last with 40-1 odds. It should be noted that the best odds, at 5-2, went with the option of none of the new coaches winning a Super Bowl.
Kelly and Mularkey are the only coaching retreads among the bunch.
It'll be interesting to see how much the odds change for Kelly, if at all, if 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick plays elsewhere in 2016.
