Denver Broncos Rumors: Peyton Manning Urged To Retire By Teammates Because He Can't Repeat [VIDEO]

Even CJ Anderson knows Peyton Manning should retire.

The Broncos RB appeared on Friday's edition of NFL Total Access. Naturally, he was asked whether Manning should ride off into the sunset, complete with cans of Budweiser.

Super Bowl 50 Highlights

"I think so, man. Let him ride off into the sunset in the correct way," Anderson said, per NFL.com. "What else does he have to do? He's got five MVPs, two Super Bowl rings, he's first in every statistical category."

"My man 18, man, walk off, man. It was a pleasure one-eight. I had fun with you."

Sexiest Women Broncos Have To Offer

It was a pleasure, I had fun, but you and your 17 INTs have to go.

To be fair to Manning, it's irresponsible to claim any QB would have led the Broncos to their third Super Bowl title in franchise history. After all, Brock Osweiler was benched against the Chargers because he put the team's playoff hopes in danger in Week 17.

But it's also hard to argue with the facts.

Manning did well enough, barely well enough to lead Denver to a 24-10 victory over the Panthers, but you can't expect his 39-year-old body to be repeat that performance in 2016.

His teammates are well aware of that, so it's no surprise they're ready to escort him out the door.
