Brie Bella knew her sister Nikki should undergo neck surgery months before she actually did.
This season of "Total Divas" was filmed about six months ago and chronicles Nikki's journey to becoming the longest Divas Champion in WWE history. It was during this time that her lingering neck issues became a problem.

In the teaser for the newest episode, which airs this Tuesday, Brie doles out some chilling advice for her sister, which she didn't take for nearly half a year.
"I think your health is the most important and you should put that first," Brie says in the clip. "It's not about your next two weeks or your next two months or being the longest-reigning Divas champion. It's about your next 20 to 40 years and you feeling good and your health."

Nikki didn't take the advice and remained an active member of the WWE roster. She went on to hold the belt for 301 days before falling to Charlotte at Night of Champions in September.
After that bout, she had a rematch at Hell in a Cell before taking time off for the injury. Nikki underwent surgery earlier this month, which was well after Brie's advice.
It is believed Nikki will eventually return to the squared circle, but for now she is finally taking her sister's advice by putting her health in front of her career -- even if it took her quite some time to heave Brie's warning.
