Brandon Jacobs Hates Fantasy Football? After Death Threat Jacobs Says NFL Players 'Don't Owe Y'all' [PHOTO]

Brandon Jacobs was inactive for Monday night's New York Giants win over the Minnesota Vikings because of a hamstring injury. That was a problem for many fantasy owners, who were relying on him to secure wins in their various leagues.

Several fantasy owners tweeted nasty messages to Jacobs, who despite his imposing stature, clearly has feelings too.

"I think fantasy football is good, but I think it has disconnected a lot of players from dealing with the fans, because that's all people ever talk about," Jacobs said. "You sit down and eat at a restaurant, and people say, 'Hey yo, I got you on my fantasy team, bro, you gotta do something for me this week.' I'm trying to enjoy my dinner."

The fantasy flap really stemmed when one fan got out of control, and tweeted he was going to kill the Giants rusher. A Twitter user messaged Jacobs demanding 50 yards rushing and two touchdowns, or he would harm him and his family.

Jacobs posted a picture of the tweet, then said, "Look what we deal with." The outed tweeter was apologetic following Jacobs' response, and the running back appears to have brushed it off as "just a kid being dumb." But he still stands firm that fantasy football is becoming too ingrained in the NFL experience.

"Us as football players, we don't owe y'all nothing," Jacobs said. "It's up to you to manage your team the way you want to manage it. The only owners and general managers I owe anything to is Jerry Reese, the Mara and the Tisch family. Everybody else, I don't concern myself with."

As for Jacobs' bum hamstring? My hamstring's fine; it's getting better," Jacobs said. "I'm just gonna let the trainers and Coach [Tom] Coughlin talk about it and deal with it as they want to. But it feels good."
