Jeremy Lin Rumors: Ex-Teammate Amar'e Stoudemire Reveals Jealousy Led To End Of 'Linsanity' On Knicks [POLL, VIDEO]

As it turns out, not every Knicks player was on board with "Linsanity."

Jeremy Lin rose to fame in 2011-12 during his time in New York, where he played only 35 games, but became a sensation during his run of success. The point guard averaged 14.6 points and 6.2 assists during that stretch.

Then, just like that, he was gone.

Lin left the Big Apple to sign a three-year, $25 million deal with the Rockets just seven months after being released by Houston.

Though he was successful on the court and made the Knicks fun to watch for that stretch, not all of his teammates were on board with his success. One of his former teammates, Amar'e Stoudemire, had nice things to say about Lin, but revealed some members of the Knicks were jealous of him.

"If he stayed it would've been cool," Stoudemire said, according to a tweet by ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk. "But everyone wasn't a fan of him being the new star. So he didn't stay long. But Jeremy was a great, great guy. Great teammate. He put the work in and we're proud of him to have his moment. A lot of times you gotta enjoy someone's success. And that wasn't the case for us during that stretch."

Stoudemire now plays for the Heat, which toppled the Knicks, 98-81, on Sunday, while Lin is a part of the Hornets. Stoudemire's comments are certainly interesting, and fed into rumors that Carmelo Anthony was jealous of Lin.

The nine-time All-Star isn't buying it.

"S--t, if that was the case then I'd be upset with KP [Kristap Porzingis]," Anthony told Youngmisuk. "I doubt if he's talking about me."

Do you think Carmelo Anthony was the one who was jealous of Jeremy Lin's Knicks success?
