Colin Kaepernick has made his desire to play for the Jets known, and he was recently spotted in New York.
The embattled 49ers quarterback is hoping to get dealt to Gang Green and with the Jets' negotiations with incumbent starter Ryan Fitzpatrick on an extension hitting a snag, anything can happen.

Kaepernick was likely in New York to spend time with his girlfriend, Nessa Diab, who is a television and radio personality based in the Big Apple. She also used to date the signal caller's former teammate, Aldon Smith.
"Had the opportunity to not only meet but talk to 49ers quarterback and NFL superstar Colin Kaepernick last night in the city," a source told Terez Owens. "Such a great dude."

Kaepernick's desire to play with the Jets likely has to do with the fact that his girlfriend lives in New York City and he has had his fair share of problems with the 49ers in recent years. Nessa is a personality on MTV's "Girl Code" and also DJ's for Hot 97 in the Big Apple.
There have been plenty of rumors that Kaepernick is trying to escape the Bay Area for the "City That Never Sleeps," but a lot of financial hurdles would have to be cleared in order for him to do so.
While things seem strong between Kaepernick and Nessa, they are going anything but smoothly between him and the 49ers, despite new coach Chip Kelly recently staying he hopes the quarterback stays.
After getting benched and injured last season, Kaepernick made it known he wants out of San Francisco.
The former second-round NFL Draft pick obviously can't play for the Giants due to the team already having a franchise quarterback in Eli Manning, so he made his desire to play for the other MetLife Stadium tenant known.
