Russell Wilson, Ciara Relationship Update: Couple Scores Big Time ... On Fishing Trip [PHOTOS, VIDEO]

Russell Wilson and Ciara only appear to be getting closer as the NFL offseason progresses.

While the new NFL league year officially kicked off on Wednesday, the happy couple didn't seem to have football on their minds.

The Seahawks quarterback and the R&B singer were out fishing and -- from the looks of things -- they are also talented in that department as well. The couple shared pictures of them smiling on a boat and holding the gigantic fish that they caught.

It seems Wilson's acumen isn't just evident on the gridiron. Ciara admitted in one of her Instagram posts that it was her boyfriend who helped her catch the huge fish. The "Dance Like We're Making Love" singer also revealed it was her first time ever fishing.

Though the couple hasn't had sex due to their religious vow to stay celibate until marriage, they seem to find new ways to keep themselves happy and entertained. Recently, Wilson and Ciara took the singer's son, baby Future, on a tour of Dodger Stadium, where he ran the bases.

The couple has also continued to use their fame for good. Wilson opened up a new clothing line where some of its profits will go to benefit inner-city kids in need. Ciara also recently went to Nigeria and was more than generous to her fans there.

As for an engagement, it seems inevitable, especially since Wilson has grown a knack for playing the role of stepfather to Future. While many of their fans are pining for the day the quarterback puts a ring on his girlfriend's finger, she isn't rushing toward it or forcing the commitment on the Super Bowl XLVIII champion.

"You have to ask the guy that. Let me tell you, no pressure," Ciara told E! News last month about a potential engagement. "One day at a time."

Until that day comes, the couple seems to be great at finding new ways to enjoy one another's company.
