Khloe Kardashian may never fully rekindle her romance with Lamar Odom, but that hasn't stopped her from moving forward with her vow to have a baby by the end of 2016.
The reality star's problems with fertility when she was with the two-time NBA champion were well-documented on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," but she has already started to prepare her body for pregnancy by the end of 2016 -- with or without a stable boyfriend.
"Khloe's been through this so many times she knows what do to," a family insider told Radar Online, "and this is the year she wants to make her baby dreams come true."
Kardashian has watched as her sisters have gone on to have children, leaving her in the dust. Kim Kardashian has two kids, while Kourtney Kardashian has three.
"She never thought she'd be childless by the time she hit 30," the source said, "so it's a real priority for her now."
The "Kocktails with Khloe" host is almost better off doing it her own way, considering the way men have treated her throughout her life. It's well-known that Khloe and Odom have had their fair share of issues, ranging from him cheating on her to his problems with drugs.
In fact, they'd be divorced already if it wasn't for his demons causing a near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October, which kept Khloe in his life. Despite the two spending a lot of time together during his recovery, Khloe has insisted she won't get back together with her husband.
"I definitely think Lamar was my soul mate," Khloe said in a video posted by ABC News earlier this month, "but I still think that you could have different soul mates for different layers of your life. I'll never discredit that. I'll never discredit our journey together and the way that we loved, and I'll never apologize for that. That doesn't mean I can't have another soul mate."
That other soul mate was not James Harden. Khloe and the Rockets guard split up after he pushed for a monogamous relationship and (you guessed it) cheated on her anyway.
After a sordid past with men, Khloe may be headed down the right path by having a baby her own way.
