Hip hop star K. Michelle is speaking out about her recent breakup with NBA veteran Lance Stephenson, telling Bossip.com "he needs to go be 23 and sling pen**."
Stephenson and K. Michelle broke up earlier this summer amid rumors of his alleged cheating.
"He's cool, he's a sweetheart," she told Bossip of Stephenson. It's good, it's whatever. When you mentally have other issues going on, it's very hard to get into a new relationship. I just feel like there was a big age gap in that situation and ... I'm a handful."
She later added "I know I'm a lot. And to ask a 23-year-old to understand this job too... and being 23 trying to date somebody you never dated... an artist or things like that. Then you're in the NBA and you want to sling di**. I'm not having it."
A four-year veteran, Stephenson enjoyed his best NBA season last year, averaging 9 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Stephenson started 72 of 78 games he played in, spelling the injured Danny Granger as the team's starting small forward.
Stephenson attended the same Brooklyn High School as former NBA vets Stephon Marbury and Sebastain Telfair and is renowned as a New York City street ball legend.
