STARS vs CANADIENS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Montreal

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Dallas Stars (5-5-1) and Montreal Canadiens (7-5-0) go head-to-head in the first of two meetings between the two this season live from the Bell Centre in Montreal. The game can be live streamed here. Dallas fans can tune into all the action on Sportsradio 1310 The Ticket  while Montreal fans can do the same on TSN Radio 690.

Dallas enters the game with 11 points, good enough for last place in the Central Division and nine points behind the division-leading Colorado Avalanche while Montreal's 14 points put them at fourth place in the Atlantic Division, two points behind the first place Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Canadiens are coming off of a 2-0 victory over the New York Rangers on Monday night and Carey Price is expected to start after he got the night off Monday. Price is 5-5-0 with a 2.12 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage this season.  Peter Budaj stopped 27 shots Monday night in a shutout over the New York Rangers.

"He's playing great," Tomas Plekanec told NHL Network of Budaj. "He's one of the best backup goalies I've played with. He's working so hard in practice, staying on with the guys for another half hour practicing. It's paid off for him and it's good to have the two goaltenders we have."

Meanwhile, Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen may be in need of a night off after he played his third game in five nights in a defeat of the Buffalo Sabres Thursday night. Lehtonen is 4-1-1 with a 1.60 GAA and a .949 save percentage. Backup Dan Ellis may get the start.

It was an emotional yet successful night for Stars coach Lindy Ruff as he visited Buffalo--a team that he played for and coached for the majority of his career until he was fired in February--and the Stars got the win over the Sabres.

"I have a lot of respect for years I had here," said Ruff per NHL.com. "The hockey is one thing, but the community support for me and my family was second to none. The fans are terrific. I was glad once the tribute was over, I just wanted to get game over after that. A lot of good memories here."

Ruff and the Stars now quickly turn their attention to Montreal, which has been led by reigning Norris Trophy winner P.K. Subban. Subban has a team-high 11 points off of two goals and nine assists while Plekanec has a team-leading six goals with four assists for 10 points. Plekanec has three goals and three assists in the past four games.

Dallas, meanwhile, has been led by Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin who each have 12 points. Benn paces the team in assists with eight while also notching four goals while Seguin is tied for the team lead with five tallies to go along with seven helpers.

Both of these teams are looking to go 2-0 on back-to-backs but only one can when the Stars come into take on the Canadiens at Bell Centre tonight in Montreal.
