WWE SmackDown [SPOILERS]: Results From WWE SmackDown Tapings For 11/1/13 From Tampa, Florida [VIDEO]

Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night for the episode of WWE SmackDown set to air this Friday, Nov. 1 emanating from Tampa, Florida. The show focused on the fall out of the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view while looking ahead to the WWE Survivor Series event on Nov. 24.

John Cena made his return to SmackDown for the first time since he was sidelined with an injury back in August, and he was a focal point of the show. Cena teamed up with Cody Rhodes and Goldust in a six-man tag match main event and defeated Damien Sandow, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro. The finish saw Cena get the pin over Swagger to ensure the victory for his team. It was reported that Rhodes and Goldust were hesitant to interact with Cena during the match.

The show kicked off with Cena as he came out and said it felt good to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Hell in a Cell and now he's back on SmackDown. Zeb Colter, Swagger and Cesaro came out and interrupted Cena, then Sandow followed suit and called the champ a hypocrite and ran him down. Goldust and Rhodes then came out and the six-man main event was made.

In an interesting storyline that furthered the progress made on Monday Night RAW, there was a backstage promo with the Shield where Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns teased more tension and foreshadowed a future break up of the group. Rollins and Ambrose were then defeated by the Usos later on in the show as more tensions grew and they lost cleanly. Big E Langston was in the Usos corner and stared the Shield down after the loss.

WWE Champion Randy Orton appeared on the show in the MizTV segment, and during the Miz's questioning of him, Orton gave him an RKO and smiled as the segment came to an end. In another segment, Triple H was backstage discussing the Big Show's lawsuit against him and said that Show was banned from the WWE for life.

In other action, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper defeated Darren Young and Titus O'Neil via pinfall and then Bray Wyatt came out and hit Young with Sister Abagail. In Divas action, The Bella twins and Natalya defeated A.J. Lee. Tamina Snuka and Alicia Fox after Natalya made A.J. tap to the sharpshooter.

SmackDown focused mostly on John Cena's return to the ring on the blue brand while it furthered the Big Show and Triple H storyline while also teasing further dissention with The Shield. SmackDown airs 23 days before the Survivor Series, but no matches have been made.
