Cody Rhodes Wife: Eden Stiles Appears Open To Wrestling In Ring Like Her Husband Stardust [VIDEO]

Eden Stiles could be looking to get into the squared circle soon -- and not just as an announcer.

The WWE ring announcer, who is the wife of Cody Rhodes a.k.a. Stardust, was recently asked by a fan on Twitter whether or not she would ever step into the squared circle.

Stiles appeared to have interest and even noted that she has been formally trained as a wrestler, but it's not entirely up to her since the creative team has a say.

If it ever does come to fruition, Stiles wouldn't be the only WWE on-air personality to jump from a non-active role to being a wrestler.

Rusev's manager and real-life fiancée Lana made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 32 on April 3, and it seems she'll play an active role in the revamped women's division. It appears the "Ravishing Russian" was thrust into the role because there are plans for her to join the cast of "Total Divas."

Renee Young, who factors into WWE programming as an on-screen host and backstage interviewer, also recently expressed interest in hopping into the ring and competing.

"I'd definitely be open to the idea of doing a storyline in some capacity," Young, who is dating WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose, told the Miami Herald earlier this month while hyping WrestleMania 32."I think it would be so fun to jump in there and do something like that. If that opportunity came along, I would go with it, but I think WWE has other things in mind for me."

As for Stiles, she certainly has a connection with the WWE Universe, even if it isn't always a good thing. She once had to jump to the defense of her husband after fans revolted over him returning as Stardust following his father, wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes' passing.

"Last night my husband returned to RAW to finish what he started and some "fans" were peeved with him, ANGRY because they wanted something else," Stiles wrote on her blog back in July. "They wanted him to use what happened to his father as a "stepping stone". Not for Cody, but for themselves. Maybe that's to feel better about everything or maybe they are just that selfish. But to publicly crap on the most courageous thing someone in this position could do, which was pick up and carry on and do it brilliantly, shame on you."
