Brie Bella Retirement WWE Rumors: Daniel Bryan's Wife May Not Have Had Her Last Match [VIDEO]

As it turns out, Brie Mode may not be bidding farewell for good.

Brie Bella had what was believed to be her final match at WrestleMania 32 on April 3 at AT&T Stadium in Texas. Daniel Bryan's wife led her Team "Total Divas" (Natalya, Alicia Fox, Paige & Eva Marie) over Team B.A.D. & Blonde (Naomi, Tamina, Lana, Summer Rae & Emma) on the pre-show.

After the match, Bella was hoisted up by her teammates and her sister, Nikki, came out neck brace and all to give her one last hoorah in the middle of the ring. Social media was then flooded with well wishes for Bella going forward, but she recently revealed this may not be goodbye for good.

"Yes. WrestleMania 32 was my last match," Bella told WWE.com. "I wouldn't say my last match forever, just my last match that you'll see in a while. I am here at home because Daniel Bryan and I want to start a family soon. Or I shouldn't say soon -- we want to start it now! We're going to start having babies, so I have to put my career on hold. It doesn't mean that I'm going to be gone. I'm going to be an ambassador for WWE. But I'm going to try motherhood."

Bryan announced his retirement from the ring in February due to a lengthy battle with concussions. Shortly after, it was revealed that Bella planned to step away in order to start a family with her husband.

The WWE didn't acknowledge Bella's last match during WrestleMania, reportedly because it will be one of the focal points of the next "Total Divas" season.

Though the WWE has distanced itself from the retirement in favor of the reality show, Bella's fellow women's wrestlers have acknowledged her departure on social media, and her sister discussed how sad she was to never share a ring with her again.

Her sister's fears may be quelled because Bella, who said she'd love to bring the likes of Trish Stratus, Michelle McCool and Beth Phoenix back with her, is hoping to make a return after she becomes a mom.

"The hardest part is that it takes a while to have a baby," she said. "So, I hate saying retirement because after I have kids, I would love to make a comeback into the ring. I feel like I could bring a whole army with me."
