Travis Shaw hit his first homer of the season, a two-run shot in the ninth, but the Boston's bid for a comeback ended there during Sunday's game. Shaw leads the Red Sox with a .324 batting average this season after wrestling the starting third baseman job away from Pablo Sandoval.

Jose Bautista launched his third long ball of the season Sunday in the win for Toronto, while reigning AL MVP Josh Donaldson drove in his club-leading 13th run of the young campaign. Donaldson also paces the Blue Jays with five homers and a .321 batting average.

J.A. Happ (1-0, 2.25 ERA) takes the ball for the Blue Jays in Monday's game, while the Red Sox counter with Clay Buchholz (0-1, 10.00). Through his first two starts, Happ has allowed just three runs in 12 innings. Buchholz has yielded 11 hits and 10 runs in his first two outings of the season.

David Ortiz, who has a team-best three homers and 10 RBIs, will not factor into his final Patriots' Day game as the retiring Red Sox star isn't in the starting lineup. Dustin Pedroia returns after sitting out Sunday's game.
