Los Angeles Lakers Rumors: LeBron James, Kevin Durant To L.A. Is Desired By Magic Johnson [VIDEO]

Fresh off of watching them play through another nightmarish, forgettable season, Magic Johnson has a big offseason wish list for the Lakers.

Los Angeles set a franchise record for their worst overall finish for a third straight season, closing out the 2015-16 campaign with a dreadful 17-65 mark. Johnson has seen enough and with Kobe Bryant retiring, he wants to see some other legends come to the Lakers and turn things around.

Johnson took to Twitter and said he wants to see the Lakers go after LeBron James and Kevin Durant. James and the Cavaliers are currently set to battle the Hawks in Round 2, while Durant and the Thunder face a 1-0 hole in their second-round series against the Spurs.

There has been a lot of speculation that James is preparing to bolt Cleveland at the end of the season. James infamously left the Cavaliers for the Heat in the past, but has indicated he'll likely close out his career in Cleveland rather than leave for a second time.

Still, anything is possible for King James and Johnson wants the Lakers to at least do their due diligence.

As for Durant, he's set to hit unrestricted free agency in July, and there are rumors he could leave the Thunder for an NBA Western Conference powerhouse in the Warriors or the Spurs. He could also, Johnson hopes, land with the Lakers.

The Oklahoma City forward wasn't interested in talking about his future earlier this season.

"Nah, nobody talks about it here," Durant said about his future in February, according to ESPN. "We don't even talk about basketball outside the court, much less free agency chatter. We don't talk about that stuff. As soon as we walk off this court it's friendships and brotherhood. It makes it easier when you have a group of guys where that's not always turned on talking about basketball. It's out of my control. Guys are going to write stories, write what they want to write about, but I just try to stay locked in where I am and try to be the best teammate and help my team win a championship."

The Lakers could use a big bang this offseason after three straight horrific campaigns, but Johnson's wish list may be a little steep.
