Paige VanZant isn't about to get into a war of words with Ronda Rousey.
The "Dancing with the Stars" participant and MMA fighter recently addressed reports that "Rowdy" went off on her for supporting Holly Holm's victory over the former UFC women's bantamweight champion back in November.
"I don't know, you're gonna have to ask Ronda, but I don't have a lot to say about it," VanZant told TMZ Sports about the incident. "She didn't scare me, it was just ... I don't know. A little bit of nonsense."
Miesha Tate recently shared the story about Rousey going nuts on VanZant following the first loss of her career. The current UFC women's bantamweight champion claimed that Rousey cursed out VanZant for congratulating Holm on winning the title from her.
Tate said on the "Joe Rogan Experience" earlier this month that Rousey sought VanZant out at VIP party and was furious at her, dropping f-bombs and getting in her face.
Despite the shocking turn of events, VanZant believes she and Rousey will be able to be friends again in the future, though she still insists she did nothing wrong in congratulating Holm and added she hasn't talked to Rousey since the incident.
"I definitely think we'll bury the hatchet," VanZant said. "I'm not too stressed about it. She was a little angry that day."
Rousey fell to Holm at UFC 193 on Nov. 15, ending her 1,074-day reign as the title-holder. The former champion later admitted that she had suicidal thoughts following the loss and only got through it because of her boyfriend, fellow UFC star Travis Browne.
Holm's run with the title didn't last very long, as she dropped it in her first defense against Tate on Mar. 5. "Cupcake" will defend her belt against Amanda Nunes on July 9 at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.
UFC legend Randy Couture recently weighed in on the incident, saying Rousey went too far.
"You shouldn't take that sort of thing personally," Couture told TMZ Sports. "If you lose, then you congratulate the guy who just beat you, so why would it be an issue?"
