WWE 'Money in the Bank' 2016 Rumors & Predictions: Ranking The Participants In The MITB Ladder Match [POLL, PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Six WWE Superstars will attempt to climb the ladder in the WWE when they participate in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match later this month.

Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are all set to compete in the match on June 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The winner will be guaranteed a WWE World Heavyweight Championship shot anytime within the next year.

While all six Superstars are worthy of winning, only one man will emerge victorious and some of these Superstars have a better chance of escaping Sin City with the briefcase than the rest of them.

Here is our ranking of the six Money in the Bank participants' chances of winning. To view this article in slideshow form, CLICK START at the top right of this page.

6) Sami Zayn

The former NXT standout has a bright future ahead of him, but it's hard to see the WWE pulling the trigger on a briefcase win for him this quickly. Given Zayn's shaky booking since his main roster debut, the company will likely slowly build him up before ever elevating him to that status. Zayn would make a perfect Intercontinental Champion and could use that as a stepping stone to greatness down the line.

5) Chris Jericho

Out of all the guys in the match this year, Jericho is one of two men to ever hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. That doesn't mean his chances to win are that great. With Jericho's nature as a part-time Superstar, it's unlikely the WWE would put the briefcase on him since they usually use the Money in the Bank stipulation for a long-term angle. If Jericho is set to leave soon, he won't be leaving Vegas with the contract.

4) Alberto Del Rio

The WWE is always high on the "Essence of Excellence" and since he's already won the bout in 2011, it's always possible he repeats. Del Rio is in the best shape of his life and could be due for a push now that he's separated from the League of Nations. The WWE Superstar is also in a relationship with Paige, which could be featured on "Total Divas" in the future. There are many reasons why a Del Rio win makes sense, but he's still toward the bottom of the pack.

3) Cesaro

If the "Swiss Superman" walked away with the briefcase, it would be a very popular move with the WWE Universe. Cesaro's chances, however, are murky given Vince McMahon's past comments about him not reaching up and grabbing the brass ring. Still, anyone can see just how over the "King of Swing" is and now that he's back with plenty of momentum, he could conceivably win the briefcase.

2) Kevin Owens

Owens is scratching the surface of No. 1 and could be a favorite to win the Money in the Bank. KO is coming off one of the best first years in WWE history, which includes winning his debut match against John Cena and then capturing the Intercontinental Championship on two occasions. The WWE has built Owens up slowly and he's one of the best talkers and most agile big men in the business. The former NXT Champion would make a great Mr. Money in the Bank.

1) Dean Ambrose

It's time for the WWE to take "The Lunatic Fringe" seriously. Ambrose has been booked the weakest out of the three members of The Shield since its breakup in June 2014. Seth Rollins had a lengthy run with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship prior to his injury, while Roman Reigns has had three separate reigns with the richest prize in the game. The WWE has started to improve its booking of Ambrose by having him engage in high-profile feuds with Triple H and Brock Lesnar, but he lost on both of those occasions. The WWE then repaired him by having him win his feud with Jericho. Now, the WWE can take that momentum and make Ambrose the new Mr. Money in the Bank, virtually guaranteeing a run with the gold.
