Kyrie Irving won't let some social media scrutiny stop the party.
The Cavaliers point guard has been celebrating winning the NBA Finals, but he was trending last week for all the wrong reasons as the party kept on going.
Cleveland toppled defending champion Golden State in seven games to win its first title in franchise history on June 19, kicking off a party week of epic proportions. The Cavaliers became the first team to ever erase a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals and win the series.
Part of that fun saw Irving living it up on a yacht with many beautiful women. People on social media began to notice that those women all bared the same distinction -- each of them was white.
Many social media users railed against Irving for partying exclusively with white women, but the point guard was unfazed. He took to Instagram and shared a photo with the tongue-in-cheek caption "all different shades" in an apparent response to the social media backlash.

Irving has a 9-year-old daughter with Andrea Wilson, who is white, and there were recently rumors that the couple got back together. He also has a sordid past with singer Kehlani -- which oddly enough also has to do with social media.
The singer reportedly tried to kill herself after she was met with venom on social media over reports she cheated on the Cavaliers point guard.
Kehlani revealed a since-deleted photo on Instagram of herself in a hospital bed hooked up to an IV. She also wrote a detailed caption about wanting to leave the earth.
The rumors of cheating surfaced when Kehlani's ex-boyfriend, PartyNextDoor posted a picture of them in bed with each other on social media.
It turned out that the singer had split with Irving before reuniting with PND, but people on social media believed she was being unfaithful. Irving eventually commented on the issues.
"I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all of this non sense that could have been avoided," Irving wrote in a since-deleted tweet, according to TMZ.
Irving, 24, notched 25.2 points, 4.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game during the Cavaliers' run to the NBA Finals. It's safe to say he's earned the right to party with whomever he wants.
