Russell Wilson, Ciara Wedding Update: Couple Intends To Get Married By This Weekend In England [VIDEO]

Update: Russell Wilson and Ciara intend to tie the knot Wednesday at a castle in England in front of 100 of their friends and family.

The two have also taken great strides to make sure their intimate day isn't leaked, banning cell phone to ensure that no pictures will be taken during the ceremony.

The highly-publicized vow of celibacy between Russell Wilson and Ciara is set to come to an end.

The Seahawks quarterback and R&B singer revealed last year that they were saving themselves for marriage, but the anticipation to their wedding day began to build when Wilson popped the question back in March.

It appears the big day is closer than previously expected as Wilson and Ciara intend to tie the knot by the weekend in England in a ceremony that will be attended by over 100 people, according to Page Six.

Ciara and Wilson were photographed heading into a prenuptial dinner earlier this week with Ciara donned in all white. According to the report, the happy couple was in Liverpool, England with friends and family preparing for the big day.

The "I Bet" singer performed at a music festival this past weekend and mentioned her relationship to Wilson several times throughout the set.

"You know, I've been single for a minute," she said before performing 'Promise,' according to the publication. "I was feeling kinda lonely. Then I found someone."

Prior to her cover of Prince's "Adore," Ciara once again spoke about Wilson.

"This song is for that special someone in my life," she said.

Despite the happiness in her life, Ciara has also dealt with some nastiness. She's currently engaged in a legal battle with her ex-fiancé Future, whom she revealed she believes is hinting at murdering Wilson.

The singer was very agitated after Future's comments calling her washed up and a bad mother, which led to her defamation lawsuit against him. Ciara claimed the disparaging remarks only were made as a way for him to trash her due to being "tormented" by her success and high-profile relationship.

Ciara and Future also don't agree on Wilson having a great relationship with Baby Future, as the rapper has been very clear he doesn't like the quarterback's role in his son's life. Ciara, meanwhile, has tabbed her husband-to-be as a stepfather to her child.

The problems between the parties grew so large that Ciara recently filed to gain sole custody over the 2-year-old, but it was denied by a judge in court back in May.

Drama aside, Ciara and Wilson are about to exchange vows and end their pledge of abstinence this week.
