Cruiserweights from around the world will be on full display when the WWE premieres the Cruiserweight Classic.
The spectacle will be hosed by Mauro Ranallo and Daniel Bryan, who will both call all of the action. Bryan retired from the squared circle back in February when it was determined the concussions he suffered in his career were too severe for him to make a return to the ring.
He'll channel his energy and passion for wrestling when he teams up with Ranallo for the inaugural edition of the CWC.
Four first-round matches have been announced for the Cruiserweight Classic. Clement Petlot will battle Cedric Alexander, while Ariya Daivari will take on HoHo Lun. From there, Alejandre Saez will go head-to-head with Gran Metalik and Brian Kendrick will go one-on-one with Raul Mendoza.
Ranallo took to Twitter to hype up this event:
