PREDATORS vs AVALANCHE Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Colorado

Tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, the Nashville Predators (7-5-2, 16 points) and Colorado Avalanche (12-1-0, 24 points) hit the ice for the second of four meetings this season live from the Pepsi Center in Colorado. The game can be live streamed here. Nashville fans can tune into all of the action on 102.5 The Game while Colorado fans can do the same on KRWZ-AM 950.

Nashville enters play in fifth place in the Central Division, eight points behind their opponents tonight and are 10th in the Western Conference while Colorado is on top of the Central Division and holds down the second seed in the conference, just one point behind the first place Ducks. Colorado beat Nashville 3-1 at home on Oct. 4.

The Avalanche are off to their best start in their 18 seasons in Colorado and are enjoying their second six-game winning streak of the year.

''We're 12-1, and everyone in this locker room feels like we're not satisfied,'' said rookie Nathan MacKinnon (2-7-9), per NHL.com. ''That's the exciting part that we can get better; 12-1 is great, but 13-1 is even better.''

Colorado is coming off of a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens Saturday, giving Patrick Roy his first win against his former team as a first-year head coach.

"It's fun to see things working out here as well as they are," Roy said via NHL.com postgame. "This game meant a lot to the guys and it meant a lot to me."

The Predators blew another lead Saturday against Los Angeles, but David Legwand was able to bail the team out with a game-winning goal to secure a 4-3 win.

''David was trying to get to the net in this game and he was more detailed,'' coach Barry Trotz said. ''His game is getting rewarded by working and paying the price. It was good to see him get a reward for some good hard work.''

Legwand has notched five goals in his last two games and has led the team with 12 points this season off of four goals and a team-high eight assists while Patric Hornqvist has four tallies and six helpers for 10 points on the year.

Goals could be tough to come by for Nashville as Colorado's netminders have been great this season. Semyon Varlamov is 8-1-0 with a sparking 1.76 goals-against average and a .944 save percentage while Jean-Sebastien Giguere is a perfect 4-0-0 with a stingy 0.75 GAA and a .977 save percentage.

With Pekka Rinne sidelined with an infection stemming from hip surgery, the Preds will turn to either Carter Hutton (3-1-1, 2.76 GAA, .914 save percentage) or Magnus Hellberg (one game played, 0-0-0, 5.00, .750).

Whoever mans the crease for Nashville will have to stop a Colorado offense led by Matt Duchene (9-5-14), Gabriel Landeskog (5-6-11) and Paul Stastny (4-6-10)

The Predators look to receive and maintain a lead tonight while the Avalanche will try to stay red-hot as they have been all year when the teams take the ice tonight at Pepsi Center in Colorado.
