VIRGINIA TECH vs MIAMI Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from Sun Life Stadium, Flordia

Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, Virginia Tech (6-3, 3-2 ACC) and No.11 Miami (7-1, 3-1 ACC) go at it live from Sun Life Stadium in Florida. The game can be live streamed for free here. Virginia Tech fans can hear all the action on 105.3 The Bear, while Miami fans can do the same on 560 WQAM.

Miami is coming off of a tough week where it lost to rival Florida State 41-14 and also lost running back Duke Johnson after he broke his ankle in the third quarter of the defeat. Johnson, who had surgery on Monday, had rushed for 920 yards on 145 carries with six scores this season before he got hurt, and he was widely considered Miami's best player.

Now, Miami will have to go on without him in this matchup against Virginia Tech.

A win today against an opponent like Virginia Tech would put Miami one step closer to playing in the ACC game, and its players are happy to put the loss to Florida State behind them and to be focusing on a team that grabs attention like Virginia Tech does.

"It helps a lot," safety A.J. Highsmith said via ESPN about moving on to play Virginia Tech. "You can't let that game beat you twice. So we have to move on, in a hurry."

Virginia Tech has represented the coastal side of the ACC five times in the last eight seasons, and Miami is looking to take that away from them this season and play in the ACC game.

Both of these teams are in their 10th season in the ACC and while the Hokies have represented the coastal side five times in the past eight ACC games, Miami has yet to play in the ACC game.

If Miami is to go on, it will have to do it without Johnson when they take on their coastal rivals in Virginia Tech this afternoon, while Virginia Tech looks to once again represent the ACC.
