2017 Amazing Smartphones Showdown: Nokia P1 vs. iPhone 8 vs. OnePlus 4 vs. Surface Phone

Enthusiasts consider that the 2017 tech market will be more interesting than the preceding year with the release of amazing 2017 smartphones. The selection includes Nokia P1, iPhone 8, Microsoft Surface Phone, OnePlus 4 and more.

Since it's the early part of 2017, tech market is expected to witness the unveiling of amazing devices equipped with incredible specs and features. Tech giants are currently working on their upcoming devices.

Many rumors are bubbling up on the internet with what is being expected from speculated devices. So, here's a rundown of the 2017 amazing smartphones set to hit store shelves soon.

Nokia P1: According to PC Tablet, it is expected that Nokia will launch Nokia P1 smartphone on February 26, 2017.  Based on many reports, Nokia P1 is expected to be the first high-end Android device, and will reportedly offer IP68 water and dust resistance.

The phone is speculated to come in two sizes, 5.2inch and 5.5inch, each with QHD 2560x1440 AMOLED displays. Reports also indicate that the Nokia P1 will arrive with Android 7.0 on board and a support for Google's Daydream VR platform. 

OnePlus 4: OnePlus could launch a successor to OnePlus 3T in this year. It could be either named as OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5. It is reported that the number four is regarded as unlucky in Asia; so there is a maximum probability that company will name it as OnePlus 5.

Reports claim that OnePlus 5 will have the high-end metal casing, housing. Under the hood, the phone is likely to feature a Snapdragon 835 processor.  Also, the phone is speculated to come with a 5.5inch QHD display, an 8GB RAM, a 21MP or 23MP rear-facing camera, a 4,000mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat. And finally, the launch date is rumored to be within this year.

iPhone 8: According to Digi Times, it is reported that the new iPhone 8 will leave way of it current aluminum cover design and will move towards a new design which includes two reinforced glass panes and a metal frame in the middle.

Apple iPhone 8 is expected to embrace Octa-core processing for the first time along with the upgraded RAM either to 3 GB or even 8 GB and no rumors are yet on the storage. There are chances that Apple might stick to the same 256GB storage.

Microsoft Surface Phone: Microsoft, the tech giant is expected to bring the Surface Phone to the market in coming months. The phone is expected to be powered by the latest Windows 10 OS and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset.

As per the report, leaked images of the Microsoft Surface Phone have confirmed single grille speakers at the top of the handset, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. The same speakers of the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 will also be present at the bottom with USB Type-C port.

The phone is expected to come in three versions having combinations such as 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. Also, it is rumored that the phone will have built-in fingerprint scanners and 5.7in AMOLED panels.
