Nintendo Switch, the gaming console is no longer available for pre-orders. Nintendo Switch was officially announced last week in a live streamed presentation and the device was stated to be available in a limited quantity in New York City.
Nintendo Switch was available for pre-orders at GameStop after the launch and presently the video game retailer has said that it has used up all the allotments that it had received for the upcoming hybrid console
Nintendo Switch, the hybrid console is already listed as unavailable or out of stock on the websites such as GameStop, Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. It is also reported that the gamers could no longer send in preorders or reservations for the Nintendo Switch on these websites.
According to Tech Times, Nintendo made an official launch on January 13, 2017 and the hybrid console's price was unveiled to be $299. Since the Nintendo Switch is not available for pre-orders and the device is going higher, as a result of this, the device is now showing up on eBay.
eBay, the online auction website, is seen with prices reaching as high as $550, which is $250 more than the retail price of the hybrid console. Also, it is reported that the lowest price for a Nintendo Switch preorder, as of the time of writing, is at about $400, which is still $100 more than the retail price. Gaming enthusiasts are heading towards eBay in order to get the hybrid gaming console.
As per the report, GameStop did not specify the number of preorders it has sold; a statement from the company said it is "working closely with Nintendo to get additional Nintendo Switch units." It is also reported that buyers are needed to sign up for email notification when the unit is back in stock.
Nintendo Switch will come with a Switch console, two Joy-Con joysticks, two Joy-Con wrist straps, a Joy-Con Grip, the Nintendo Switch Dock, an HDMI cable and an AC adapter. The other items such as the Nintendo Pro controller will be sold separately for $70 and additional Joy-Con controllers are reported to be sold for $80.
