The battle between the two best 6GB smartphones of tech market is a must. OnePlus, the Chinese tech giant heads on with its best model OnePlus 3T against the South Korean tech giant's Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, the Samsung's first model featuring 6GB RAM.
A head-to-head comparison between OnePlus 3T and Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro
Display: OnePlus 3T comes with a new 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a respectable 401ppi. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro sports a 6-inch full HD AMOLED display having a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels with 2.5D curved glass on top.
Processor: OnePlus 3T has new Snapdragon 821 processor with same dual-core clocked at 1.6GHz and another at 2.15GHz running the same Adreno 530 GPU. The processor is coupled with 6GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 653 octa-core chipset with four cores clocked at 1.95GHz and the rest at 1.4GHz paired with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM.
Storage and Battery: OnePlus 3T is incorporated with 64GB of internal memory and presently the phone has an option of 128GB internal memory as well. The phone holds a 3,400mAh lithium ion battery which includes Dash Charge that will give up to a 60-percent charge in only 30 minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro packs inbuilt storage of 64GB that is expandable via a microSD card up to 256GB. The smartphone is featured with more powerful 4000mAh battery than the OnePlus 3T with fast charging support. The battery backup is reported to be the best one in the segment.
Camera: OnePlus 3T is equipped with 16MP front and rear camera. Camera lens has Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF,) an LED Flash, a large f/2.0 aperture, and OIS for stability.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro packs a 16MP camera on both front and rear same as that of OnepLus 3T. The rear 16MP camera comes with an aperture of f/1.9 and a dual-LED flash. The selfie camera too has the same aperture sans the flash module.
OS: OnePlus 3T runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with OnePlus' OS called OxygenOS on top. There are recent reports indicating the OS in OnePlus 3T has an upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat. Also, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro runs with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Price: OnePlus and Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro have a price tag approximately to $439 and $545 respectively. Alos, keep a note that prices of smartphones may change based on the country or region where it is being sold.
