Deadpool 2 is the sequel to one of the most successful films of 2016, Deadpool. Wade Wilson movie was the box office hit and now fans expect a lot more from its sequel. There is a rumor that this movie will have lots of characters in it.
Zombieland writing team, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who made the Deadpool are back for Deadpool 2. As written in ComicBook, they recently opened up about their ideas to include X-Men character cameos in the sequel.
This must be a tough job for Reese and Wernick to reach up to fans' high expectations because of the success of first part. They have to make room for more characters of X-Men. However, they have not revealed the number of characters yet.
It will be a surprise for Deadpool fans to see more mutants in the next movie from X-Men series. According to Movie News Guide, the sequel of Deadpool will introduce a lot of characters and how the story goes in Wade Wilson's life.
Reese said that "the occasional cameo or appearance by an A-list type person could be really funny and/or dramatic. So we have an eye open for those things, but we don't want to just put people in it because we can now, if that makes sense."
Deadpool 2 will be a solo movie which has lots of characters. Both Reese and Wernick are in the multiple drafts at this time and they are hoping to start production this year. There will be lots of twists and turns in the movie and everyone are excited to see how it will turn out.
Writers are bit nervous because of the very high expectations of Deadpool fans. Generally, when the first part of the movie is blockbuster then there is very difficult to maintain the quality of the film in the sequel.
David Leitch replaced Tim Miller to direct the film. Ryan Reynolds will play the role of Wade Wilson aka Deadpool. The sequel, Deadpool 2 is currently in pre-production.
