Jake Locker Injury [VIDEO]: Titans QB Out For Year After Week 10 Foot Injury? QB: 'I Don't Know How It Happened'

As the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up their first victory of the season, the Tennessee Titans lost more than just the game as quarterback Jake Locker left with a foot injury the team believes could cost the signal caller the rest of the season.

ESPN reports that the Titans are "99 percent sure" that the quarterback will be lost for the year after he departed the game. The Titans (3-5) fell to the Jaguars (1-7) by a 29-27 final, but Locker wasn't in the game to see the finish after he departed in the first half at LP Field Sunday afternoon. Locker rushed for an 8-yard gain and was hurt, but he didn't leave the game. He fumbled the football on the next play and was lifted from the game in favor of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

The Tennessean reported after the game that it was believed Locker suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury that would likely require surgery. ESPN noted that a source familiar with the injury said that "it does not look good." Locker watched the end of the game on the sidelines, and ESPN reports that he spoke with reporters shortly after the game wearing crutches and a boot.

Locker wasn't sure how the injury occurred.

"I really don't know how it happened," he told ESPN. "Just when I got up I could feel it."

Locker will hope that the injury isn't season-ending, but he'll know more when he undergoes more tests Monday.

Locker went just 4-for-9 for 24 yards with an interception before he left the game. The third-year quarterback was 111-for-183 (60.7%) for 1,256 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions.

In relief, Fitzpatrick went 22-for-33 for 264 yards with two touchdowns and was sacked once. Fitzpatrick is 63-for-111 (56.8%) for 790 yards with four scores and four picks on the season.

The Titans have a quick turnaround against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11 with a Thursday night game, and if Locker can't go it will be Fitzpatrick starting with Rusty Smith backing up under center.
