Huawei Honor 9 A Powerful iPhone 7 Plus Killer With Its Amazing Features

Huawei's new smartphone has just been approved by the Chinese regularity authority TENAA. There is no official name yet for the said device except for its model name listed as Honor DUK-TL30.

Regarding its expected price, there is no information about it yet. There are recent reports claims that it may be introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Mobile World Congress will be held in the Mobile World Capital Barcelona from 27th February to 2nd march 2017.

The DUK-TL30 is shaping up like a superior device. It features a Quad HD 5.7 inch display. Its screen resolution is reported to be 2560*1440 pixels. As for the iPhone 7 plus, as stated in CNET, it has a 5.5-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1080*1920.

The Honor 9 measures 159*77.5*6.97 mm and weighs 184 grams. The device is reported to have a Fingerprint Scanner located at back. On the other hand, the iPhone 7 plus measures 158.20*77.90*7.30 mm and weighs 188 grams and it comes with a sleek metal design.

The Honor 9 is reported to run on Android 7.0 nougat and will have a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor. The other reports also claim that this could have a Kirin 960 chipset. The iPhone 7 plus runs on 10.01 iOS but it is now upgradable to iOS 10.2. It is having an Apple A10 Fusion chip which is considered to be one of the best chips.

As per GSMArena, the Honor 9 includes 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. There is no information regarding expandable memory option. As for the iPhone 7 plus, it features 3 internal storage variants: 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. It features 3 GB of RAM for all variants.

The Honor 9 features 12 MP rear camera and 8 MP front camera. As for the iPhone 7 plus, it features a dual-rear camera and a 7 MP front camera. The device is powered by a 3900 mAh battery and the iPhone 7 plus is powered by a 2900 mAh battery with a standby time of 16 days.

Based on the above-listed information, the Honor 9 (aka DUK-TL30) has a potential to be a more powerful smartphone than Apple's iPhone 7 plus.
