Adrien Broner Next Fight: Marcos Maidana Sees 'Holes In Defense' Of 'Problem'? [VIDEO]

Adrien Broner is an up-and-coming star in the sport of boxing, who appears to be letting the press clippings and hype get to his head. He's slated to take on Marcos "El Chino" Maidana on December 14th, and has a slew of distractions hovering above him.

There is a sex tape with two women released online, and the issue of his weight. At a recent press conference to promote his clash Broner looked very bloated next to the trim and in-shape Maidana.

Then, there is the matter of in-ring factors. Maidana is far and away the hardest puncher Broner will have faced in the ring, and his trainer Robert Garcia believes Maidana will be able to exploit several of the young Broner's flaws.

"Oh definitely I see holes in his defense," Garcia said. "Maidana is going to land some punches. He is definitely going to land some punches and they are going to hit a lot harder than Gavin Rees, a lot harder than Paulie [Malignaggi].

"We're going to be ready. We know the fight will not be easy, we know the fight is going to be difficult. [Broner] is going to be on the ropes a lot I'll tell you that. He better prepare himself because he's going to be on the ropes a lot."

Despite the knockout threat posed by El Chino, Broner has displayed a lack of concern for his opponent in the fight buildup. He has scoffed at Maidana's power, and indicated his skills will easily neutralize that thunder.

"I'm a Ferrari and he's a go-kart and my fans will see that in my return to Texas. It's been over four years since I've fought there and I'm going to put on a show. Watch me light Maidana up like a Christmas tree on Dec. 14," Broner said. He also said Maidana "is not in my league."
