Apple is one of the leading smartphone makers who is famous for revolutionary products that they always manufacture and introduce in the market. And now, new reports disclosed that the company will launch a new feature for its iPhone products this year. According to Forbes, Apple is now tied up with Japan Display and said to be working to make flexible screens that would be suitable for the iPhone. The screen will be a flexible LCD panel made of plastic that can be bend and flex.

Though this technology in not new on the smartphone market, this will be the first time for the company to use this features on their products. Apple's competitor Samsung have already applied this technology way back on their Galaxy Note and Galaxy Edge models. But it doesn't mean that they will abandon this project as it will also benefit them in some ways.

9 to 5 Mac also see the flexible LCD as the future screen for all the Apple's iPhone smartphones that could lead to making it on the mainstream market. Most of the smartphones are using usual LCD and glass display but Japan Display are instituting LCD and plastic.

Though this would be a risk for the Apple company as it will require their internal components to be flexible also, but it will a big achievement and reward if they can pull this one. However, the company is rumored to feature an OLED screen for its next flagship device, the iPhone 8. But if the flexible LCD will evolve, Apple might turn on to the best screen that will give more promise.
