Rebooting of fictional movie series is required when there is some change required like recreating the storyline, characters, plots etc. for the better response from the audience. If a movie from a series is not doing well at the big screens, rebooting is the option.

The storyline needs to be reformed so that the best selling Resident Evil franchise go backs to its original principle.
