Randy Orton Wins Royal Rumble 2017: Twitter Fans React


The 2017 Royal Rumble which was revolving around the big names like The Undertaker, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle who was expected to make the surprise entry but it did not happen and "The Viper" Randy Orton was the winner.

Randy Orton by winning the match has booked his seat to the Wrestlemania 33 main event. Orton defeated Roman Reigns and registered his careers' 2nd Royal Rumble victory as reported IWNerd. WWE stars and fans reacted to his victory with mixed feelings on social media.  
 
Fans were excited to know the fact that they will witness Randy Orton take on John Cena at Wrestlemania 33. WWE Creative Humour tweeted, "We are now on the Road to WrestleMania. @RandyOrton wins the Royal Rumble & @JohnCena is champion. Feels like a familiar road #RoyalRumble."
 
Zack the Lion tweets, "Really? @JohnCena vs @RandyOrton @WWE? This has been over done and overkilled. I'm not watching wrestlemania if that's the main event." Randy Orton was the 23rd man to enter the Royal Rumble match and there were RKOs' all over.
 
There were many fans who were going mad over Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble. Aiden #RoyalFumble tweeted, "How on Earth does Randy Orton deserve this?! No Joe, no Balor, Reigns and Amore for no reason at all... Have you not learnt from 2014?!" Also looking at the future of WWE one of the fans Ryan A. Johannson posted, "Randy Orton wins the Rumble and Cena is champion. Tell me again how WWE is building towards future stars... #RoyalRumble"
 
Orton earned this win by getting over Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Roman Reigns, Chris Jericho and his brother Bray Wyatt as reported in fansided. Randy won the Rumble match in 2009 where he defeated his mentor Triple H. He went on to lose at Wrestlemania though.
 
Once again, Randy Orton is going to the main event in Wrestlemania 33. It would be interesting to see how he grabs this opportunity.
