Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad by 3-0 in La Liga Spanish League 2017 and increased the lead in the standings.

According to ESPN, Real Madrid did its winning part successfully with scoring 3-0 goals against Real Sociedad and increased its lead in the La Liga Spanish league with an assist by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sociedad had back-to-back league wins before this game but with bad luck, the team finished its game with just 10 men as Inigo Martinez was sent off the field at 74 minutes. Inigo Martinez was shown two yellow cards after doing two fouls in the game.

According to the stats, Barcelona who is placed at the second position in the table needed a late equalizer by Luis Suarez to make the match draw at Real Betis with 1-1, while Sevilla lost with 3-1 goals at Espanyol.
After playing some approx. 19 or 20 matches, the top four teams in the Spanish La Liga league is Real Madrid with 46 points on the table, Barcelona at the second position with 42 points on the table, Sevilla at the third position with 42 points on the table and Atletico Madrid at the fourth position with 36 points on the table.
Atletico Madrid scored a scoreless draw at promoted Alaves and stayed 10 points off the lead with 36 points. Madrid has a bigger advantage as it still has a game left at Valencia.
