Roger Goodell Contended Pro Bowl's Debut In Orlando "This is a special night"

The latest news from the 2017 Pro Bowl are regarding the changes made by NFL to move the event to Orlando, not a permanent home but a temporary location for the game.

According to ESPN, Commissioner Roger Goodell sees something very positive in this decision. The 2017 Pro Bowl session will be conducted for the first time in the city of Orlando. However, Orlando is under contract as well for hosting the event again in 2018 with a third-year option for 2019.

The format of this year's Pro Bowl season has also changed. It has returned to the NFC-AFC matchup conditions. Being held at ESPN's Wide World of Sports, it includes Pass and Kick National Championship, Punt, NFL Flag Championship, the North American Championship which also features high school players from USA Football and Football Canada, and also the USA Women's World Football.

ABC News posted the lines said by Goodell - "We go one year at a time".

Goodell said to ESPN just prior to kick-off. "This is new for us, and we're still not done. We have a few more hours to go. As I just said to the [Orlando] mayor [Buddy Dyer], 'We're really excited, the way the fans have reacted favorably and the community has really embraced it. This is a special night for us."

Goodell also said to media, "This is a different kind of a game. This isn't a Super Bowl or a championship game. We recognize that. It's gotta be something that reflects positively on our end. The thing that really struck me about the skills challenge was how much fun the players had. They were really enjoying it. And that's what I said to them tonight, 'Have fun. Enjoy it.'"

For the fans, this will be the most exciting moment to watch Pro Bowl this season.
