OnePlus 5 News and Update: Smartphone Expected To Beat iPhone 7 With Its Powerful Specifications And Price Range

OnePlus 5 is one of the most awaited smartphones of 2017. According to reports, it will be released in the second half of the year. As per the latest reports, it is speculated that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will allegedly launch the highly anticipated device the OnePlus 5 in April.

As mentioned in the Phone Arena, it has to note that number 4 considered as an unlucky number in Chinese tradition which explains the company skipping OnePlus 4's release. The OnePlus 5's features imply that it will be more powerful and a remarkable device, considering as well that it is dubbed as Apple's iPhone 7 killer.

OnePlus 5 will offer a Quad HD AMOLED display as well as a powerful rear camera. It will apparently come with a 5.5-inch screen with a possibly curved 4K display. The OnePlus 5 is expected to sport a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor which is to be an upgrade from OnePlus 3's Snapdragon 820.

As stated in the Latin Post, It is expected that the OnePlus 5 will come with an 8 GB RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage and a whopping 256 GB external storage via a microSD card.

The OnePlus 5 will feature a 4000 mAh battery. The OnePlus has explained that why they won't offer smaller devices. It is because they wanted to offer bigger batteries which range only from 3500 mAh to 4200 mAh.

Moreover, reports claim that it will come with a 22 MP rear camera. However, it remains a great upgrade from a 16 MP rear camera that OnePlus 3 has. It will offer 8 MP for the front-facing one. As for the handset's price, it is actually unknown at that moment but according to the company's previous releases, the OnePlus 5 might be priced at $400.

The OnePlus 5 is worth buying not only because of its features and specs but because of its price range. A $400 or $500 smartphone packs this kind of power is mind-blowing that it feels too good to be true.
