Known as the world's fourth-largest smartphone maker, Xiaomi is all set to shape the future of smartphones with the launch of its MI Mix smartphone. According to CNET, Xiaomi MI Mix is the first handset which has got a bezel-less display.
The tech specifications for this smartphone are more than superb when compared to other latest smartphones in the market. Xiaomi MI Mix has been designed by French Designer Philippe Starck and has a 6.4 inch IPS LCD edgeless display with full HD resolution of 2040 X 1080 and 362 PPI pixel densities.
The Verge reports that Xiaomi MI Mix is given with 16 MP primary camera with dual LED Flash and f/2.0 aperture. Users can easily record 4K/1080p/720p at 30 frames per second and roll in 120 frames per second in slow motion.
Users can also capture 1080p quality selfies with the 5MP front camera given in the smartphone. Some impressive hardware is included in the device, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at 2.35 GHz.
The device has been coupled with Adreno 530 graphics. The smartphone has two versions, either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.0 storage and a 4,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. As a future of smartphones, Xiaomi MI Mix has also a fingerprint reader which can ensure the safety of the smartphone for the user.
The more advanced technique used in the device is the built-in ultrasonic proximity sensor for making phone calls and works as an earpiece speaker if there is none as an external speaker. In simple words, the speaker of the phone is hidden behind the glass screen of the smartphone.
This innovative smartphone was a secret from Xiaomi from the last 2 years but now it has finally come up in the market for its customers. The phone is available on the market for $510 and $590 USD for the two versions of the smartphone. This is the most expensive Xiaomi smartphone launched till now.
