Kunal Nayyar who plays the role of Raj in "The Big Bang Theory" wonders what is wrong with him and why women reject him. Jim Parsons aka Sheldon gives many possible answers which hurt Raj but he replies that it is okay.
Sheldon misjudges that he is fine and did not understand Raj's feeling behind that. He gets irritated when he realizes that he is wrong. Sheldon wonders why no one just says exactly what's on their mind and he recognizes he struggles with recognizing emotions of others.
In "The Big Bang Theory" series, Sheldon is mostly shown emotionless and thinks everything scientifically. Bernadette tells that she recently read about a gizmo that was created for people like Sheldon who don't understand emotions of others and MIT has a prototype.
As Howard is an alum of MIT, he submits Sheldon's name as a beta tester. Sheldon is dangerous with his machine as now he understands others' feelings. This happens the first time in the history of "The Big Bang Theory".
On the other hand in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 14, Leonard is not happy with Penny as her brother is coming to town and she tries to help him find a job who was arrested for selling illegal drugs. Leonard doesn't show his feelings and agrees with her.
Sheldon holds the device to read Leonard's expression as Penny asks him to go over Randall's resume and finds that Leonard is angry and he speaks loudly rather than keeping it to himself. Now, Penny reads angry as well.

Overall it was fun to watch "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 14. Episode 'The Emotion Detection Automation' was centralized between Raj and Sheldon.
