‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 8 Update: Nina Dobrey Returns

The long debate of whether Nina Debrov and Ian Somerhalder will be reunited on their television drama will soon be true. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will see the reunion of the two characters. The actress recently confirmed her return to the show to get reunited with her on-screen lover.

According to Popsugar, Nina Dobrev is officially returning for the show's finale.  "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 of the series will see Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Debrov) get reunited. And since the return of the 27-year-old actress in the TV show, fans were already wanting them to get married on screen. Likewise, the producers have decided that they will exchange their vows before the finale of the TV drama.

Fans are still making their own theories as for how Dobrev's character will return to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Either Bonnie can die or Dobrev can transform into a vampire which on the other hand will wake Elena from her long sleep.

It is the words from the insiders that Somerhalder's wife, Nikki Reed, is not so pleased with the decision of the show-makers for bringing back Debrov again to the "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. According to Breaking News both the husband and wife were spotted together on social parties and events which led to speculations that maybe Reed is a bit insecure from Debrov's closeness to her actor husband. Even Somerhalder was seen keeping a distance from his co-star on the sets of the Vampire Diaries.

Several set pictures were taken of all the actors of the "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8  where Debrov were not seen in any picture with Somerhalder. The actor himself was not sure about the fact whether show makers should bring back Debrov back in the show. When asked the reason about such thoughts he said that his character does not deserve a happy ending. Fans are pretty excited about the "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. Only time will say how the story will end.
