Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the Columbus Blue Jackets (6-10-1, 13 points) and Boston Bruins (11-5-1, 23 points) faceoff live from the TD Garden in Boston for the second of three meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here. Columbus fans can hear all the action by tuning their dials to 97.1 The Fan while Boston fans can do the same on WBZ-AM 98.5 The Sports Hub.

The Bruins come into their fifth and final game of their homestand having won three of four at the TD Garden and four of six overall while Columbus is reeling, having lost six of their last seven games. The last time these teams met, the Bruins won 3-1 in Columbus.

The Bruins had struggled in their previous five games going into their homestand, but have rattled off three straight victories to become 3-0-1 on the stand thus far and have taken seven out of a possible eight points. They'll go for two more tonight.

"Our team had been going through a bit of a slump, and we didn't play with the energy and obviously the cohesion that you need to play well," coach Claude Julien said per NHL.com. "Through a schedule like ours in hockey with 82 games, you get those [skids] and we've been trying to fight our way out of it, and right now we're finding our game slowly."

The Blue Jackets blew their one-goal lead against the Washington Capitals with 1:45 left in regulation and then lost 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday in a loss that was hard for the team to live with.

"This is tough," right wing Jared Boll said Tuesday via NHL.com. "This is tough to swallow; two points we're throwing away. We had the lead with a couple minutes to play and we blew it."

Brandon Dubinsky has paved the way for Columbus by notching 15 points off of five goals and 10 assists while James Wisniewski has two tallies and a team-leading 12 helpers for 14 points while Marian Gaborik and Ryan Johansen have each lit the lamp five times and added six helpers for 11 points.

For Boston, David Krejci has three goals and 13 helpers for a team-high 16 points while Milan Lucic paces the team with seven goals and has added seven assists for 14 points.

The Bruins will likely have to beat reigning Vezina Trophy winner Sergei Bobrovsky who has started 14 of the Blue Jackets' 18 games and has posted a 5-8-1 record with a 2.84 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage while Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask, who is 10-4-1 with a 1.52 GAA and a .948 save percentage may be due for a night off and expects to get on during one of the team's next two games.

The Blue Jackets will try and bounce back after a tough loss put an exclamation point on a horrid stretch while the Bruins will hope to keep surging at home when the puck drops at the TD Garden in Boston tonight.
