Apple iPhone 2017 News: The Reason Behind iPhone 8 Expensive Price

2017 will be a big year for Apple as the company is gearing up for its flagship smartphone this year, the iPhone 8. However, loyal iPhone consumer is concerned about the expensive price of it that seem to be overrated. Now, recent reports revealed the reason behind its steep price and how it would benefit its user.

The iPhone series smartphone are one of the best selling gadgets since it was released in the market. And as the competition for better smartphone products is taking one notch higher every year, Apple are finding ways to make their devices more different and attractive to other existing phones in the market.

However, as more feature is being added to the phone, it will also mean additional cost for the product. According to 9 to 5 Mac, KGI earlier predicts that all iPhone sets that will be introduced this year will sports a wireless charging feature. Latest news now confirms that this attribute will be available on all three models of iPhone namely the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 8.

Aside from the wireless charging feature, new iPhones will also present the 3D Touch sensor. KGI revealed that the 3D Touch module will add up 30-50% to the total cost of the phone. With this latest update, many analysts forecast that the new Apple iPhones will have a price range of $1000 up to $1100.

More bad news is coming as one report also disclosed that this additional feature will not be readily available right of the box. According to BGR, the wireless charging will require users to buy an additional accessory to make it work. The 3.5mm headphone jack adapter that Apple usually include in every iPhone box will now be sold separately.

Earlier reports already revealed some of the exciting features that the iPhone 8 will have which includes an edge to edge OLED display, the new Touch ID sensor plus a specialized curved screen design that are new for iPhones. Though all these features proved to be costly, there is no doubt that consumers will still buy it as long as Apple iPhone smartphones are truly one of a kind.
