'The Walking Dead' Midseason Premiere Is As Fantastic As One Could Imagine

"The Walking Dead" is back! AMC aired Season 7 midseason premiere this Sunday. Good news for the fans as now they will see Rick striking back against Negan and the "The Survivors".

While the first half of "The Walking Dead" season 7 was not that well for the fans as there was too much violence and the storyline was not that appealing. But now fans will get to see the same Walking Dead they used to love before.

"The Walking Dead" mid-season premiere shows that Rick is finally prepared to fight "The Survivors". As written in BGR, it is cleared in the Season 7 that Rick and the Alexandrians make their case against Negan, but they're treated similarly at The Hilltop and at The Kingdom.

The people of Hilltop owes Maggie twice and they want to fight but their leader wants peace with Negan. He is afraid of him as shown in the previous episodes of "The Walking Dead". Still, with the support of Jesus, Rick and the survivors goes to King Ezekiel to convince him.

King Ezekiel, somehow rejects their proposal but offers a room for Daryl as "The Survivors" don't enter his kingdom. It was shown in the previous episodes of "The Walking Dead" that King Ezekiel is very welcoming and helped Carol and Morgan when Carol was shot.

Rick and his team return back to their place, Alexandria. As soon as they enter the gate, they saw some people coming by to check out on Daryl. They search the Alexandria but could not find him. Their superior warns Rick that whenever they see Daryl, they will kill him. Previous episodes of "The Walking Dead" season 7 showed that Negan kept Deryl.

As stated in Forbes, Father Gabriel left the Alexandria during his night shift and betrayed everyone but Rick doesn't believe them. He searches for a clue and finds the word 'BOAT' scrawled in a notebook. Rick and some survivors follow the track of Gabriel through the woods to an abandoned rail yard where suddenly they're surrounded by another community of people which were not seen in "The Walking Dead" before. There were dozens of them with full of different weapons.

Well, who are these people? Are they enemies? Or allies? No one knows. But everyone saw Rick smiling. Maybe he smiled because he saw an opportunity to fight against the villains of "The Walking Dead" as these are many and he could use them. Or he is surprised to see these many people together, the survivors like them.

"The Walking Dead" mid-season premiere will bring back their fans who didn't like the first half of season 7. Meanwhile, everyone is excited to see how Rick will manage things again.
