Manchester City Win Against Bournemouth Despite Gabriel's Injury

If there is any team that can push Chelsea for the title it will be Manchester City. At present Pep Guardiola's side is looking good at Premier League after they beat Bournemouth on Monday by 2-0.

Manchester City victory was special because they did it without Gabriel Jesus who picked up an injury in the first half and Aguero was called upon who was looking determined who has a point to prove. The effort put in by Sergio Aguero shows that he is still not done at Manchester City who was sidelined lately by the rise of Gabriel Jesus. But the Argentinian made his presence felt by helping in City's win as reported by ESPN.

This was Manchester United's fourth win in a row and that too against an impressive and competitive team Bournemouth will certainly boost their confidence. Also looking for this match which was their last league match until the first week of March they will carry the positive momentum with them.

Aguero has certainly made himself to be picked on the front line in the weeks ahead with Sane who also did exceptionally well though he was a bit unfortunate as he belted a shot that went to hit the crossbar.

Even without Gabriel, City got through Bournemouth and created many chances. Guardiola said about Sane"People say we only brought in one guy [Gabriel Jesus] in the January transfer window but, since Arsenal [in mid-December], something has clicked with Sané," said Guardiola. "He's shown us a lot of things. He is so fast, and his intensity has helped us a lot, and he is only 20" as reported by The Guardian.

The only regret City would have was that the could not add a third girl against the tiring Bournemouth in the last 10 minutes of the game. With this win, the City takes the points back to Manchester and keep the pressure on Chelsea.
