Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor Close To Happening But UFC President Dana White Says Otherwise [VIDEO]

Reports of a Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is the hot topic of online news as of late. Rumbling news are now saying that the fight between them is close to happening but UFC president Dana White has something to say about it.

Mayweather, often called as Pretty Boy or Money Mayweather, is a former five-division world boxing champion and unbeaten in 49 total fights since he retires in 2015. On the other hand, McGregor is the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion who have beaten some high-caliber MMA fighters. Both are egotistical and have a big mouth in every bout they are connected.

It all began with a heated exchange of tweets between the two proud champion of two different sports discipline. Each one claiming the best pound-for-pound fighter in terms of dominating skill inside the ring. And it appears that heated debate will turn into reality as latest reports are spreading that the two have already agreed to fight each other.

Floyd Mayweather told in an interview with ESPN that "we're getting very, very close" to making a super fight, which seems to be pertaining to him and Conor McGregor. And it looks like the rumored fight between them is true after all.

Sources confirmed that McGregor did arrive in Las Vegas last Monday evening fueling speculation that he is meeting with the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for the said mega fight. However, NSAC chairman Anthony Marnell told reporters that nothing has come out on their side but they are well aware of the active negotiations between the two parties.

Marnell thinks that the fight is still a long shot and a lot of things needs to get done but he also believed that if big money is involved, people who are pushing the fight can make it happen. In a separate report, UFC president Dana White released a statement about the impending fight.

Dana White told TMZ that "There is no deal" with regards to Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather fight and there's a little chance of the fight happening. He never goes into specifics but rumors are saying that there's a third party that is preventing it from happening as per stated also in the report.
