Samsung Galaxy S8 Specs, Features And Release: First Smartphone To Feature Bluetooth 5.0 And 6 GB RAM

Samsung is the most leading and reputed manufacturing company of Smartphones. First, they planned to debut its most anticipated Smartphone of 2017, Samsung Galaxy S8 on Feb. 26 at Mobile World Congress (MWC). As per the new reports, Samsung is expected to officially divulge its next flagship devices Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus on March 29 which goes on sale on April 21.

The leaked image of Samsung Galaxy S8 on Weibo, that shows off the back panel with "Galaxy S8 6". This shows that the awaiting Smartphone may be offering 6 GB of RAM. It also shows that the Smartphone may be in a black variant with a "Made in Vietnam" mark on bottom.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 versions that will release in China and South Korea could get 6 GB of RAM. Smartphones like the OnePlus 3, LeEco Le Max 2 and Xiaomi Mi Max already possess this memory capacity so it is not anything out of the ordinary, while it would be a first for a Samsung smartphone.

Also, Samsung Galaxy S8 may have a 5.8-inch display and Galaxy S8 plus will have 6.2-inch display with the Quad HD resolution. It will use an RGB Super AMOLED curved display panel instead of a Diamond PenTile-based one. Then the S8 will have 50% more subpixels, more sharpness, and will have better picture quality.

According to Venture Beat, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Exynos processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB of RAM and will have 64 GB of expandable storage space. And it will be the first smartphone to support Bluetooth 5.0. In terms of battery backup, 5.8-inch display variant will have 3000 mAh battery, while the bigger 6.2-inch display variant will have 3500 mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 5.8 inch model is expected to avail at a starting price of $885 and the 6.2 inch model at $899. As there is no official announcement on Galaxy S8, it is expected that it may debut on March 29 and can go on sale on April 21. For more news & updates stay tuned with SWN!
