2018 Nissan Leaf: Second Generation Electric Hatchback With New Features

2018 Nissan Leaf is the second generation of Japanese Automaker's electric hatchback. This new car is expected to offer a choice of new battery packs and provide a driving range of 200 miles or over in top-spec version. Nissan is all set to continue heavy sales and consumer relation building through its new lead launching in the market.

According to Auto Blog, Nissan has been in this business since 7 years now and their sales have remained relatively strong. They had a competition with many other companies who launched a better range automobiles with cheap fuel consumption. It is a saying that the new Leaf is inspired by the IDS concept that Nissan showed in 2015.

It is expected that Nissan would add body-side sculpting, V-motion grille and possible floating roof design in the new range. The first generation of Nissan was launched in 2010. The Leaf was due for restructuring cause. It was one of the oldest design in the market.

According to Auto World News, motor authority noticed that nearly all its rivalries have overtaken the Leaf. The latest generation only has 107 miles of range and is priced above $30,000. The Chevrolet Bolt EV offers more than double the range and has a similar price. Thus customers are choosing Chevrolet over Nissan.

The second generation of Nissan Leaf is built on an evolution of the original EV's platform. It will have many structural changes which will allow the use of modular battery packs. It will also offer improved power flow and set battery temperature to serve the users' needs in extreme climate condition. The new Leaf is expected to launch in January 2018 and the price can range below $30,000. The new look of Nissan leaf 2018 is very promising. The company has the plan to give tough completion to all the competitors.
